Nestled on the banks of the Rio Sado, these two fishermen’s huts, Cabanas No rio, offer a unique experience amidst the beach coastal landscape of Comporta. Beautifully renovated by the architect Manuel Aires Mateus in 2013, these idyllic cabins built of wood blend wonderfully into the sublime and rough natural landscape. Along sandy beaches and the green vastness of the rice fields , Cabanas No Rio is a haven of peace. They are located 3 km away from Comporta beach and village.
The first hut includes a comfortable bedroom and a bathroom with a shower open to nature. The second one has a living room and a small equipped kitchen. In front, a small pontoon with two chairs to lay back and unwind and a kayak is waiting at the end to explore the river.
After a good night sleep, Dolores will dress a table on the pontoon and bring you a fantastic breakfast including ham, cheese, boiled eggs, bread, freshly squeezed orange juice and tea. How is that for a breakfast with a view?
From 200 € per night for 2 people, 2 nights minimum stay.
