At Frenchie Bar à Vins, the small plates are beautifully and simply crafted, with great ingredients sourced responsibly.
This first-come-first-serve parisian restaurant has become a must. Grégory Marchand started his carreer as a chef at Fifteen, Jamie Oliver’s Michelin starred restaurant in London. The name “Frenchie” was a nickname he had in Oliver’s kitchen. He worked in London and New York for a while before opening his first restaurant in 2009 in Paris. He created his Frenchie little village rue du Nil in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, which is now home to Frenchie restaurant, Frenchie Wine Bar, Frenchie to Go and The Frenchie Wine Shop. Frenchie Covent Garden opened in 2016.
A la carte, fabulous wines for all tastes found among small producers that you can savour while listening to a playlist of old hip-hop. The highlight? There’s nothing like the British scotch eggs spiked with kimchi aioli and sesame.
