Restaurant KLE has been one of the most acclaimed openings of the past years and a great addition to the Zürich food scene. Located in an orange house of Kreis 3, Zizi Hattab cooks a delicious plant-based menu using local products. Spanish with Moroccan origins, she brings her talent and inspirations to the culinary food scene. She works her magic on flavours and sauces to make her vegetable-driven dishes shine.
After working at some of the most famous restaurants in the world, Zizi opened her neighbourhood restaurant in 2019, bringing innovation to the culinary scene and creating a family around KLE. She concentrates on the flavours and delicious and unexpected combinations. She focuses on vegan menus, using spices, fermentation or umami creating new flavours and having an impact on responsible gastronomy. Not to answer to a trend but because she truly believes this is the way forward. KLE was recently awarded with a Michelin Green Star focusing on gastronomy and sustainability.
KLE is a great option for dinner or brunch. Dinners feature 3 or 4 courses surprise menus as well as A la carte. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays with a sunny terrace to enjoy the weekend. Musts are the BBQ Mushroom sandwich (Zizi’s favourite) and the giant pancake with vegan chocolate.
